Not very often music has the magical power to move emotional mountains. ‘Run’ by Jethro Pickett has it all. It’s a track you would hear at the end of your favorite Netflix drama, something you would play to smoke a cigarette while contemplating life, or a track you would need when an important chapter of your life closes.
The song was recorded in the 120-year-old boat shed that doubles as Pickett’s studio and residence. The track features Ani Lou (Kate Southorn) and Conor Deasy on vocals, Beau Thomas (drums) and Adrian Whitehead (bass).
The vid was shot on 16mm film around Melbourne in the summer of 2022.
