When others put the effort to look as fancy as possible during fashion week, she thinks about how to dress warm and comfortable. When all of the fashionists take out from their wardrobe precious bags from designers like Prada, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, she has only one thought in her mind – black backpack. Who is she then? A photographer, of course!

What does backstage at fashion week look like? It’s hectic, very busy and laud („Photographers step back!!!”, „Everybody gets out!”, „Photographers move! Stay clear out of the stairs!”).  At the same time, it’s exhilarating! When you have access to backstage of the shows, like myself  this year, you are one of the very few who has the privilege to see everything just before the exclusive audience.

What about inside? It’s crowded with stunning  models, talented make-up artists, hairstylists, and stylists. Despite the designer who plays a key role in the show and the collection in general, the team of creatives work hard (and usually for free) to create a breathtaking show. And now… hold your breath and dive into my story of the London Fashion Week AW20 backstage.
