Today instead of a coffee we’re serving you The Bygone Goodbye by LA-based noise-pop duo MUNNYCAT. Their latest single is an upbeat funky pop-punk piece and it’s all about the growing frustration of trying to meet people in the middle who have no intention of compromising.

“It’s more of an indie rock/disco track about leaving the past behind. Sometimes you spend so much energy trying to make amends with situations or people until you realize you’re the only one trying. And at that point – you have to move on. We all went through a lot last year and it was something we thought was important to share right out the gates in 2021.” the band says. 

So who are they?

Two total collaborators – they love each other, they live together, they write and produce together, they even shoot and edit their own music videos together. MUNNYCAT makes energetic and empowering neon-coloured west-coast bops, with bombastic kick drums and grimy percussive layers.

They definitely energised us with their single and we can’t wait to hear more from MUNNYCAT.
