Detroit’s indie artist Jax Anderson released a new track Can’t Get Me High feat. PVRIS on Neon Gold Records. As a proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community, Jax is thrilled to be able to release this powerful song for PRIDE Month.
The songwas written with and produced by indie-electronic duo Foreign Air, and perfectly incorporates Lynn Gunn’s delicate yet powerful vocal feature.

Jax says: “Can’t Get Me High is about the moment you realize that you’ve been giving the most, but receiving the least. It’s when your mind opens up to the harsh truth that there’s nothing else you can do and you’re just over it.”
The song is a part of a forthcoming concept album called Songs For Every Condition.
About the upcoming album, Jax explains:“Life happens in ways that are unpredictable & beautiful & everything/nothing all at once. There are so many moments to notice & feelings to cherish. A moment that happens when you’re happy, may feel different when your condition changes to sad or excited or healing or heartbroken or joyful. Life changes constantly – to me the soundtrack of life feels more like a playlist than an album.”
