Suzie & the Rocket is a group expediting through Californian pop reminiscent of the 70’s and a trip through the unmistakable landmarks of English pop. Their latest single ’Ogresses’ comes from their very personal album, ’The Karel Show’, which is due out this month.
The melodies and Manon’s oneiric inner life conjoin with Franck’s science and multi-instrumental background (as in Mlle Caro & Franck Garcia) to lead us – dancing – through a sunny labyrinth of electric pop that’s occasionally dreamy & even melancholic but eternally (& tenderly) psychedelic.
