Zivi returns with “Pull It Off,” the striking first single from his anticipated sophomore album Still I Caught Up—a project poised to dive deep into the raw, unfiltered realities of connection and emotional reckoning. The single marks a distinct evolution from his debut Lost In Love, which offered a more romanticized lens on relationships. Here, Zivi pivots into more turbulent emotional terrain, asking harder questions: When do we stay? When do we leave? And what if we can’t do either?
Produced in collaboration with Grammy-winning engineer Marc Whitmore, “Pull It Off” was recorded at The Library in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The track’s sonic landscape—equal parts stark and immersive—was sculpted further with mixing by Peter Recine and Kyle Biane at The Market Recording in Echo Park, and final mastering by Rob Kleiner at Studio Edison. The result is a song that’s both intimate and expansive, balancing vulnerability with layered production and lyrical tension.
Visually, the story continues with the official music video, now streaming on YouTube: Watch here. The video echoes the song’s themes of emotional limbo, portraying a relationship suspended between memory and disintegration.
“Pull It Off” captures Zivi at a creative crossroads—still searching, still haunted, but more fearless than ever. As Still I Caught Up takes shape, this single promises a body of work that’s introspective, unflinching, and unmistakably human.
