The Wojtek Mazolewski Quintet, a globally renowned jazz band from Poland, is set to make a powerful return with a refreshed lineup and their full-length album Beautiful People, scheduled for release on October 11, 2024. This new project will be distributed worldwide in collaboration with the iconic K7! label. 

Wojtek Mazolewski is a significant figure in the jazz world, especially within Poland’s contemporary jazz scene. Known for his exceptional talent as a bassist and composer, Mazolewski has played a pivotal role in bridging the gap between traditional jazz and modern, avant-garde elements. 

Mazolewski’s band, the Wojtek Mazolewski Quintet (WMQ), is a prime example of his innovative approach to jazz. With albums like Polka and Spirit to All, he’s gained international recognition, praised not only by Polish audiences but also by critics and fans across Europe, Japan, and the U.S.
