Icelandic-Dutch artist and songwriter Áslaug debuted in 2019 with a single Take From Me, receiving nationwide radio airplay in The Netherlands. With a major spot at the prestigious showcase festival Eurosonic/Noorderslag, along with a fully booked spring in 2020, the industry was excited about her. Over the past year, she has been working on her second EP, Thirst, in which she takes a more analogue approach to electronic pop music. Co-produced by herself, Thirst perfectly showcases Áslaug’s incredible talent and marks a brand new start to her career.
Today we have the pleasure to present you artist’s first 2021 single Timezone, a very catchy, charming, HAIM alike, Scandinavian pop piece. The song is pure magic that takes you up there on a cloud to another very pleasant dimension. It starts very innocently, slowly growing into the freedom anthem that will make you dance.
