There is a rare kind of artistry that manages to feel both timeless and modern, grounded and cinematic all at once. Paris-based producer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Peter Dallas captures exactly that with his third EP adult, released on September 12. The project marks a defining moment in his evolution, revealing a sound world where analog warmth meets contemporary emotion.
Across five meticulously crafted tracks, adult moves like a film score that has found its voice. Every note feels tactile, alive, and deeply human. Dallas builds his universe from analog synthesizers, electro-acoustic instruments, and real-time performances by studio musicians, allowing the imperfections and textures of each sound to breathe. The result is music that invites you in, not with spectacle, but with intimacy.

Known for his distinctive analog-driven approach, Dallas has honed his craft through years spent between Paris and Los Angeles. His creative fingerprints can be found in collaborations with Jimmy Whoo, Scratch Massive, and New Constellations, as well as through his work in renowned spaces like Ciel Rouge Studio, home to artists such as Jared Leto, King Krule, Charlotte Gainsbourg, and Christine and the Queens. Later, at Grande Ville Studio, frequented by Drake, 070 Shake, and Lil Uzi Vert, Dallas continued refining his vision before founding his own Goldstein Studio, where artists like Kaytranada have also worked.
adult is a statement about what modern production can feel like when it refuses to surrender to digital perfection. It leans into the beauty of analog imperfection, balancing sophistication with emotional sincerity. Each song resonates like a snapshot of adulthood in motion—sensitive, cinematic, and quietly profound.
Through adult, Peter Dallas reaffirms his place as one of the most compelling voices in France’s evolving electronic scene. His music feels not like something made, but something lived.
