Child Seat is a dynamic duo comprised of Madeleine Mathews and Josiah Mazzaschi  that transformed pandemic-induced obstacles into indie rock triumphs. Their debut album was written entirely remotely during the pandemic, with Mathew’s commanding rock vocals—reminiscent of Karen O. and Brittany Howard—lending a unique contrast to Mazzaschi’s synth-heavy instrumentals with hints of MGMT, Beach House, and Arctic Monkeys inspiration.
