Ghost Feet, a Portland-based trio took a new approach to songwriting during pandemic, focusing more on live instrumentation with the intent to find a vocalist to collaborate with. ‘It Disappeared’ was the first song they wrote as a trio. The vision they had for the song came from their shared influence of 90’s era trip-hop and shoegaze.
‘It Disappeared’ gives you the feeling of listening to something you’ve known for a very long time. Ghost Feet bring up the sounds and melodies from the past that have the power to comfort the mind and soul. Trio wisely mixes ambient, rich guitar textures with cinematic melodies and ethereal vocal lines building their own musical parallel universe.
