Step into the spellbound world of Band of Muses, the sister duo conjuring psychedelic folk-rock straight from the mists of Los Angeles. Penny-Scarlett Muse and Daisy Rose Muse channel the spirit of 60s Laurel Canyon and 70s rock grandeur into their debut single, “Cinnamon”—a hypnotic, genre-blurring odyssey that simmers with lo-fi grit, ethereal harmonies, and avant-garde intensity.
Drenched in molten vocals and layered with sitar flourishes, fuzzy bass, and a blazing guitar solo, Cinnamon is equal parts séance and sonic explosion. The track was entirely self-produced, recorded, and mixed by the sisters under their imprint, Songbirds Sounds, and mastered by Andy “Hippy” Baldwin (Oasis, The Who) at London’s Metropolis Studios.
With Cinnamon, Band of Muses open the door to their surreal sound universe—where myth, memory, and music become one. And the journey is just beginning.
