Names are three London based school friends that grab our hearts with their every release. Writing, recording and producing everything themselves out of their DIY home studio, Names bring their sophomore release ’Nice Guy’, a catchy, easy-going progressive rock piece. The trio is slowly building their very unique sound that made us recognise them immediately without even looking at the band’s name. That’s a hella good sign.
’Nice Guy’ is a song that draws inspiration from artists like The Killers, The Neighbourhood, Future Islands – a solid groove offset by ever-growing guitar-work and layers, its a song that’s designed to have a sense of movement and build tension.
With a music video for ’Nice Guy’ due in mid December, ahead of multiple releases in January – Names are looking to continue building their burgeoning ahead of shows throughout 2022.
